Exploring the culture and history of Istanbul, Turkey, this project creates a hypothetical branding series for an Olympic bid.
Throughout this project are details and easter eggs giving homage to Turkey's culture- the hidden tulip in the center of the logo representing the national flower or the intricate mandala patterns inspired by Turkish rugs. The goal was to capture the culture and create a brand system that is bright, sporty, and bold for the Olympic games. This was a group project, and my area of focus was wayfinding and signage- including the creation of icons and a brochure.
